Our fourth annual Play Exchange: Fostering a STEM Identity was a success! 🌟 Educators and caregivers came together for an afternoon of connection and collaboration as we explored how hands-on experiences and developmentally appropriate practices can be used to promote essential problem-solving, curiosity, and other STEM skills in our youngest learners. We heard from incredible speakers, Satyan Devadoss, Howard Chan, Soudabeh Memarzadeh, Krystle Miller, David Nemteanu, Whitney Raser, and Ganisha Sethi, who shared practical tools and insights to bring play-based learning into classrooms and caregiving environments. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this inspiring afternoon and to our amazing staff, board of directors, speakers, and sponsors who made it all possible. Special thanks to our event sponsor, @SchoolsFirstFCU, for their generous support.
