Spend the summer exploring with the Children’s Museum of Discovery! Each week of camp includes access to Museum exhibits, hands-on exploration, and an opportunity to adventure through exciting themes and activities with new friends.

June 15 – June 19

Tiny Robots

Engineers are problem solvers! Explore the world of robotics while practicing your problem-solving skills through various coding challenges.

June 22 – June 26

Invention Investigators

Put your detective cap on and get ready to problem solve! Explore creative thinking, learn all about inventions we see every day, and get hands-on with the engineering process.

July 6 – July 10

Crafty Chemistry

Discover how art and chemistry go hand in hand. Experiment with color mixing, temperature changes, and other ways to mix art and chemistry.

July 13 – July 17

Adventuras Agricolas

Discover the world of farming through interactive, Spanish-bilingual activities that explore animals, crops, and agriculture. Campers will expand their Spanish vocabulary through songs, games, and hands-on STREAM and art projects.

July 20 – July 24

Outer Space Odyssey

Get your jet packs ready and join us for a week of fun that is out of this world! Learn about astronauts, travel among the stars, and explore new planets.

July 27 – July 31

Under the Sea

Dive right in and join us for a week of ocean exploration. Explore our ocean’s layers, creatures living in the dark, and learn about ways to help protect the sea.

August 3 – August 7

Dinosaur Discovery

Become a paleontologist by exploring fossils, dinosaurs, and more through hands-on exploration.

August 10 – August 14

Kindergarten Readiness

Build confidence and excitement for school! Kindergarten Readiness Camp helps children ages 4–6 entering Pre-K, Transitional Kindergarten, or Kindergarten learn and play through hands-on activities.

  • 9:30-9:45 Welcome to Camp

  • 9:45-10:25 Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math (STREAM) Activity

  • 10:25-10:40 Snack time**

  • 10:40-11:35 Storytime

  • 11:35-12:05 Lunch**

  • 12:05-12:50 Team Time

  • 12:50-1:20 Art

  • 1:20-1:50 Exploratory Centers

  • 1:50-2:20 Museum Exploration*

  • 2:20-2:30 Closing Storytime & Pick Up

*Campers will enjoy indoor and outdoor museum exploration each day
**Campers are required to bring their own (peanut-free) snacks and lunches. Snacks and lunches will be eaten in the Indoor Classroom.
