Fall Tissue Paper Tree

STREAM Activity: Fall Tissue Paper Trees

Capture the Colors of Autumn in this Tissue Paper Tree Art!

Activity best for children ages three and up

Fall is here, and that means the leaves on trees are changing colors! Leaves are usually green because of a special pigment called chlorophyll, which helps plants turn sunlight into food. When the days get shorter and cooler, the chlorophyll fades away, revealing the bright reds, oranges, and yellows hiding underneath. With this craft, kids can explore those beautiful fall colors using tissue paper to create their very own colorful leaves. It’s a fun way to learn about nature while making art that captures the feel of autumn!
