This snowman snow globe craft lets friends create winter wonderland using their imagination and creativity. As children design their snow globe, they can think about how snow falls and settles, just like a real snowstorm. It’s a fun way to explore winter weather while making a cheerful snowman to display all season long.

MATERIALS

  • Transparent plastic cup

  • Paper plate

  • Scissors

  • White paper

  • Blue construction paper

  • Markers

  • Tape

  • Glue

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1

Trace the opening of your plastic cup onto a paper plate, then carefully cut out the circle. This piece will help hold your snow globe in place.

Cut a piece of blue construction paper to fit inside the plastic cup opening. Place it inside the opening and trim away any extra paper.

Decorate your background! Use white paper to create snow and a snowman, then glue your pieces onto the blue background.

Use any leftover white paper to cut small confetti strips to represent falling snow.

Place your decorated background and paper confetti inside the plastic cup. Seal the opening with the paper plate circle.
